Current and expected weather over the Kenai Peninsula has decreased fire danger. You are allowed to burn debris but must have a permit from April 1st to August 31st. Firefighter I Class begins Tuesday, March 26th at 6 pm. The class will be held at the McNeil Canyon Station ( Station 1) – 53048 Ashwood Ave. Contact the station to sign up 235-9811.
